n this article I want to explain to you the low data mode of your iPhone. This is a very common phenomenon that many people don’t realize exists on your device. It is also one of the reasons that you need to make sure you have all three services active at all times. It is possible to turn off cellular data but not to put it off indefinitely.
The first step is to find the Cellular Data Status in your iPhone and tap the icon that says “toggle Cellular Data”. The second step is to tap the switch next to the word “mobile data” to change it from the off state to the on the state. The last step is to tap the switch again to turn it back off.
If you’re wondering why you need to do this, well it will protect you against people that might attempt to use your cellular data connection to do things on the internet. You see, it happens quite often. Someone on the internet will connect to your internet and then they’ll either delete some files, send something or for whatever reason be unable to complete the task. When you perform the actions that were outlined in the preceding paragraph, you risk making your iPhone crash or at least having limited functionality when you try to connect to the internet again.
The first thing that we are going to do is turn off your mobile data connection. To do this go to Settings and tap Network and choose Other. Once you’ve done so you’ll notice a slider that says “cellular data status” next to the clock icon. If you click on it you’ll see a slider that says either “TETRA” or “HSDP”. If you have both then you will be in the HSDP state which means high-speed data (preferably wireless) access.
Now we are going to turn off the actual wifi connection on your iPhone. We do this by tapping the WiFi icon next to the clock on the main menu and selecting the “Disable WiFi”. This is actually the second step in this article, so don’t skip it. It’s very important that you do this step number two otherwise you might end up seeing the following message on your iPhone:
If you’re wondering why the above error message appears, then it’s probably because you aren’t connected to an Apple online network. The reason this error occurs is that your iPhone believes you’re still connected to a cellular data network even though you’re not. You can fix this issue by simply reconnecting to the internet via another computer. At the end of the last step there’s a link that should take you to a website where you can quickly download the latest drivers for your iPhone, so don’t forget to take advantage of that.
Finally, you need to download a new program to help you transfer all of your contacts from your old phone. To do this, simply go to the “Settings” app on your iPhone, scroll down to the bottom, and tap on the “Network Preferences” link. Here you’ll see a table of available networks along with their passwords. Tap on the correct link and then follow the steps for setting up your new account.
Once you have done all of these steps, you should be able to return back to your regular iPhone again and see your progress. That’s it in a nutshell when it comes to setting up a working jailbreak iPhone! Good luck!
Hopefully, you’ve already figured out how to jailbreak your iPhone so that it can perform data backups on your computer. You can also do it manually, of course. However, if you’re like most people who’ve accidentally deleted their jailbreak iPhone, then it’s very easy to do the task manually. What you will need is some persistence, the ability to look up a technical guide and of course, a computer with an internet connection. The process is actually quite simple if you have the time and patience.
If you know what you’re doing, then you can easily create a restore point on your computer before starting the jailbreak process. You can do this by going into the “Settings” app on your device and tapping on” Reset.” This will put your phone into the reset state. From there, you can choose whether or not you want to use a restore point, which will prevent your iPhone from being deleted in the future.
If you choose to use a restore point, then you need to connect your iPhone to the computer while still in the reset state. That way, you can download the restore point software and follow the instructions provided on the site. Once you’ve installed the software, it will take a few minutes to copy all of your settings, contacts, and everything else that you want backing up. After that, you’ll be done! Your computer will then start up and run through the process of restoring your data.
