The series renewed for a third season on July 24, 2020, with production set to begin in late 2020.

The third season will consist of 10 episodes and will be set one year after the second season’s events.

The series will again be set in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

The cast of the third season will include Chase Stokes, Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Jonathan Daviss, Rudy Pankow, and Austin North.

New cast members for the third season include Charles Esten, Drew Starkey, and Julia Antonelli.

Plot details for the third season are currently unknown, but it is expect that the season will focus on the search for John B’s missing father and the ongoing conflict between the Pogues and the Kooks.
