Instead, she used the experience to empower other women who have been victims of violence. She became a spokesperson for the National Domestic Violence Hotline and started her own foundation, Dillard Presents, which provides scholarships to young women.

Dillard is also a successful businesswoman. In addition to her work in television, she owns her own event planning company, Dillard Events. She has also launched her own line of hair extensions, Dillard Beauty.

A New Reign For An Old System

 

As the saying goes, “All good things must come to an end.” And so it is with the reign of Dillard, the former Miss United States. After two successful years as Miss United States, Dillard has decided to step down from her position and focus on her new role as Mrs. United States.

While she will no longer be Miss United States, Dillard will always be remembered for her grace, beauty, and poise. She was a true queen in every sense of the word. And we want to thank her for everything she has done for the Miss United States Organization.

We are now pleased to announce that the new Miss United States is Katelyn Nicole Davis.

Katelyn is a 23-year-old model and beauty queen from San Diego, California. She is the current Miss California USA and has also competed in the Miss Teen USA pageant.

We are confident that Katelyn will be a wonderful Miss United States and we look forward to seeing all that she will accomplish in the coming year.
