Taylor Swift has unveiled a deluxe rendition of her album “Midnights” titled “Midnights (Til Dawn Edition),” showcasing a more pronounced collaboration with Lana Del Rey. Devotees were astonish by Del Rey’s fleeting involvement in the duet, where she predominantly provided harmonious undertones. In response, Swift took to Twitter to announce that she and Del Rey reconvened in the studio to capture additional vocal performances from Lana for the track “Snow on the Beach.”
During an interview with Billboard, Del Rey confessed her unawareness of the sole featured artist on the song. Had she been cognizant, she would have wholeheartedly embraced Swift’s request to render the entire second verse. Del Rey elucidated that her role as a featured artist is to contribute to the song’s production, and she expressed gratitude for the opportunity to fuse her musical realms with Taylor and the esteemed producer Jack Antonoff.
In addition to the revamped rendition of “Snow on the Beach,” the deluxe edition of “Midnights (Til Dawn Edition)” encompasses the Ice Spice remix of “Karma,” the previously exclusive track “Hits Different,” available only through Target, and the evocative 3am tracks. Moreover, the album features a brand new composition titled “You’re Losing Me,” exclusively obtainable on the tour-exclusive CD version of the deluxe edition.
