Jose Alvarado won Jordan Rising Stars MVP after leading Team Pau to a tournament victory at Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City to cap the first day of All-Star Weekend. The event features players selected by their peers based on their on-court performance during the 2018-19 NBA season.

Jose Alvarado brought strong defense and a hot hand from beyond the arc to Team Pau’s offensive attack. He dropped 13 points in the semifinal matchup against Team Deron, then drilled a game-winning three-pointer in the final against Team Joakim.

The actor Bruce Willis has been diagnose with dementia, resulting from a diagnosis of aphasia in the year’s spring. the family of Bruce Willis announced Thursday.

Particularly, Willis has frontotemporal dementia and aphasia, which may be present that causes difficulties with writing and speaking.

“Unfortunately, challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease Bruce faces,” his family stated. “While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis.”

Willis’s family announced last year that the actor was taking a break from his career for decades due to his diminished cognitive abilities.

How do you define frontotemporal dementia?

Frontotemporal dementia, also referred to as FTD is one of many types of dementia that causes nerve damage to the temporal and frontal lobes. This leads to the loss of function in these areas, according to the Alzheimer’s Association.

There are various kinds of frontotemporal dementia. The behavioural variant of frontotemporal dementia results in nerve loss in areas of the brain which control the ability to judge, empathy and conduct.

Primary progressive aphasia causes damage to the areas of the brain that regulate the ability to write, speak and comprehend. The first signs typically occurs before the age of 65, however, it can happen later.

 

FTD can also affect motor function and movements, that could lead to Lou Gehrig’s disease. It is sometimes refer to as ALS.

What is the difference between FTD and Alzheimer’s?

The diagnosis of FTD is usually seen in people between the ages of 40 and 60 and Alzheimer’s is diagnosed in later ages. The disease is associated with hallucinations and memory loss as well as problems with spatial awareness and orientation, like being lost.

Treatment and diagnosis

The doctors use brain imaging technologies like MRIs for diagnosing FTD. The results are evaluate together with the patient’s medical history as well as symptoms. About 30% of those affected by frontotemporal dementia develop the condition; however, there is no risk factor identify for the disease.

There are medicines that aid in relieving symptoms, but the condition will get worse over time.

“4 Me” is a nice little twist on an oldie, thanks to the addition of new vocals from Chris Brown. Produced by Wheezy and built around a sunny sample from dancehall legend Beenie Man and Mýa’s 2000 track “Girls Dem Sugar,” it’s a cute Valentine’s Day drop that plays like a summer jam.

On Friday, singer Toliver announced a brand new song, 4 Me. The song is slated to appear on his forthcoming Lovesick album, which is expected in May. As for the sound of his new project, Toliver recently told GQ that Lovesick represents the kind of music he’d ultimately like to make. “I’m just now getting to where I really wanted to be: futuristic R&B and soul,” he said.

News broke yesterday that Hugh Jackman would be reprising his Wolverine role in Marvel Studios’ Deadpool 3. Deadline reports that the actor has found his next co-star as Emma Corrin, who will play the villain role. Shawn Levy is on board to direct with Paul Wernick & Rhett Reese returning to write the script. Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin penned a previous draft. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige will join Reynolds, Levy and Feige as producers.

Plot details for the film have not been confirm, but this will mark the first time Marvel Studios will work hand and hand with Reynolds and Team Deadpool. Fans are sure to be excited at Kevin Feige’s involvement after seeing how he helped revamp the Spider-Man franchise. After coming on to help in the creative effort for that franchise.

Marvel has been eyeing Corrin since the holidays, but scheduling conflicts with their busy schedule have made it difficult for them to commit. In the past week, arrangements were work out and Corrin is ready to go!

Corrin has received recognition for her role as Lady Diana Spencer in Season 4 of Netflix’s award-winning series The Crown.
