There was speculation that a Nintendo Direct would be short. It turns out that one was announce! The announcement was make early this morning. The Direct will take place on February 8, on the East Coast, starting at 5 PM and lasting for about 40 minutes.

According to the tweet that announced the Nintendo Direct according to announcement tweet, the Direct will focused on the games planned for the first quarter of 2023. It’s likely to include games like Octopath Traveler II (not that Square Enix has reminded anyone about the match scheduled to be released at the end of February) and possibly Pikmin 4, and of course, the much-anticipated Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. However, one (i.e., me) would like to see the possibility that the Direct will also include finally, at long last, an announcement date for the long-awaited and unresolved Advance Wars remakes.
There’s also the (not tiny) possibility that Nintendo will provide us with another glimpse of the Super Mario Bros. Movie. Unfortunately, the film has already made, as I’ve heard that the internet’s top dad is an impressive Mario.

Nintendo recently released its quarter-end earnings report, which states that the Switch has sold more than 120 million units, making it the third most popular console ever. However, according to a CNBC report, the company has decided to lower its software and hardware sales projection in 2023 because of the less-than-stellar holiday sales. Since the Switch is making progress in terms of years when compared to other systems, it’s time to introduce a new product in the works that could be reveal during the next Direct.

Sam Smith just performed better than their recent “Saturday Night Live” performance together with “Unholy” collaborator Kim Petras in the form of a horror-movie-inspired rendition of the hit. Smith began the show in red leather, surrounded by with dancers. Who brought to mind Samara in “The Ring,” before moving into Petras performing in the cage. She was accompanied by dominatrices sporting costumed headgear that was satanic. Smith also wore the satanic top hat while massive flames blazed the stage.

“I think a lot of people, honestly, have kind of labeled what I stand for and what Sam stands for as religiously not cool, and I personally grew up wondering about religion and wanting to be a part of it but slowly realizing it didn’t want me to be a part of it,” she said. “So it’s a take on not being able to choose religion. And not being able to live the way that people might want you to live, because as a trans person I’m already not kind of wanted in religion. So we were doing a take on that and I was kind of hellkeeper Kim.”

This could also constitute an NBA record were it weren’t for Curry who has made this 22 times. Curry along with Thompson have the distinction of being only two two players who have ever recorded more than one game with at least 12 3s (they’ve both done it twice).

Thompson’s most bizarre moment of the game? He didn’t even attempt one free throw. His 42 points rank as the top in the league this season , without any free throws, beating Donovan Mitchell’s 38 against the Knicks in October.

This isn’t a statistic that the Warriors will be content with. However impressive it is to be able to do such a lot of damage with jump shots. There is no team in the league that has fewer free-throw attempts than the Warriors which attempted just seven on Monday and some were the garbage.

Klay Thompson hasn’t been a great free-throw runner. Thompson isn’t able to get close closer to the rim or in the lane. In truth, I’m not sure that you’d like him to dribble more than what is needed. It’s still a difficult mountain to climb for the Warriors who, not only make the fewest free throws, but also give up the most at the other side.

It’s unlikely to change. They’ll need to take many shots to make up for the difference.

However, let’s look at things positive: Poole was magnificent. In one game the player was totally Steph-like. He was a complete Thunder by being the creator, with an all-time high of 12 assists. This sprint and kick for Thompson was masterpiece:

Here, Poole takes on the empty side of the rim and causing Josh Giddey to spin around before dropping a bounce to the vacant Andrew Wiggins for the Gimme Deuce.

Just when it appeared that it would be a low scoring night for Poole, he began hunting his own shot. He ended up scoring five 3-pointers, along with 21 points, in a highly proficient and patient performance. This is an incredible Curry thing. A peaceful shooting night has transformed into a nuclear event within just a blink.

Poole and Thompson aren’t likely to play the way they do every night It’s obvious. If they can get some form over the coming week, and then a quarter to boost the Warriors ahead of their All-Star break, what a boost it could be, with each game playing a role at this point.

Other top new artist nominees were Anitta, Omar Apollo, DOMi & JD Beck, Muni Long, Latto, Maneskin, Tobe Nwigwe, Molly Tuttle and Wet Leg. The 10 nominees were in concert earlier this week at the annual Spotify Best New Artist party. Joy took the audience to an eerie, late-night jazz venue in the set she performed and made the vast room feel intimate.

Bonnie Raitt was nominate along with Gayle’s “abcdefu,” Lizzo’s “About Damn Time,” Taylor Swift’s “All Too Well (10 Minute Version) (The Short Film),” Harry Styles “As It Was,” Steve Lacy’s “Bad Habit,” Beyonce’s “Break My Soul,” Adele’s “Easy on Me,” DJ Khaled (featuring Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, John Legend and Fridayy)’s “God Did” and Kendrick Lamar’s “The Heart Part 5.”

The veteran musician seemed shocked at the mention of her name.

Oh, my gosh. Oh, I’m so surprised. I don’t know what to say. This is just an unreal moment. Thank you for honoring me, to all the academy that surrounds me with so much support and appreciates the art of songwriting as I do. I was so inspired for this song by the incredible story of the love and the grace and the generosity of someone that donates their beloved’s organs to help another person live. And the story was so simple and so beautiful for these times.

And people have been responding to the song partly because of how much I love and we all love John Prine. And that was the inspiration for the music for this song and telling a story from the inside. I don’t write a lot of songs. But I’m so proud that you appreciate this one and what this means for me and for the rest of the songwriters.

Brooklyn Nets star Kyrie Irving has asked for a trade following the failure to reach an agreement on to a new contract, as per numerous reports.

Kyrie Irving 30, hopes to get a deal done before the deadline for trades on Thursday. Or will be an unrestricted free agent on July.

Eight-time NBA All-Star is currently in his fourth season with the Nets following his move as a player with the Boston Celtics.

Los Angeles Lakers, the Phoenix Suns and the Dallas Mavericks are all linked to an option to an offensive guard.

There is no official comment by Irving as well as any of the Nets.

Moving to the Lakers could bring Irving be reunit together with Lebron James. With whom has won his first NBA title with during Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016. Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016.

Orlando Magic big man Mo Bamba and Minnesota Timberwolves guard Austin Rivers were among five players who were be dismiss during the final quarter of the game on Friday in the Target Center following an on-court dispute.

Timberwolves members Taurean Prince, Jaden McDaniels, as well as Orlando’s Jalen Suggs were remove for their part in the fight.

It’s not known what caused the battle.

It appears that things were getting heat while Austin Rivers was sitting near his Magic bench. Bamba who was sitting at the bench, seemed to rise from his chair and take a punch at Rivers before they traded punches, and then other people became involved.

The NBA will likely issue penalties and/or suspensions to those involved in the fight.

Bamba 24, is enjoying a good campaign for the Magic averages 7.2 scores, 4.6 in rebounds, and 1.0 assists over the 39-game season (five start) and shooting 49.8 percent on the ground as well as 39.6 per cent from behind.

Rivers who plays mostly on his bench in Minnesota and averages 5.6 scores, 1.8 rebound and 1.6 assists across 42 games as he shoots 46.4 percent at the foul line in addition to 37.1 percent from outside the line.

The Magic began Friday’s game at 13th position on the Eastern Conference with a 20-32 record. The Timberwolves finished seventh in Western Conference at 28-26.

He also said that he’s not pleased with the font used in the tattoo. As it’s too straightforward, and added: “That’s why I added this crown above the ‘A’. I put a crown on ARMY.”
